Important! All guild members must read this!!
Background:
AWDF was only founded in Febuary 2007 by Ronniekray. Ronnie left the guild in April and Lemus is now the latest guild master. The main aim at the moment is to help each other out towards leveling up and just generally having fun. Hopefully, alot of you will make it to lvl 70 and then we can start playing end game instances and doing raids to take out uber bosses! But that is the ultimate objection of the guild, for the time being we are putting all our efforts into getting everyone there. However, we still maintain a few rules, mainly on ettiquet and conduct.
We are for the most part an easy going guild, but there are a few rules and we don't take kindly to people breaking them.
Rules:
The main and most important rule AWDF holds dear is that WOW is just a game (we know saying that angers a few people, but it's the truth, so deal with it) and as a game, the main point is just to have FUN! There are however, a few other rules that MUST be adhered to, and if these are abused you risk being kicked from the guild, your reputation with other guilds and most people on agamaggan being severly tarnished. This is just a rough copy of the charter until I can get a more detailed one written up.
We will not tolerate ANY abuse towards other members, period. This isn't an easy thing to monitor, so if someone on the guild upsets you in any way, please don't hesitate to contact the black knights or Lemus and we will try to resolve the problem as best we can.
Using the word NOOB to describe another member of the guild will not be tolerated, we're here to help each other out, as we've all been there. remember, todays noob's are tomorrows legends! as a fun sidenote the higher level players all tend to have alts, so the asumption that all low level players are noob's is a big mistake, ( this has happened to me once before with muramasa and i found it highly amusing, i'm not going to name names, you know who you are :) )
If you have to argue do it in private not in the guild chat, unless it's friendly banter that we can all laugh at :)
Don't constantly ask for boost's because even the higher members have a game to play, and don't really want to spend there entire gaming life escorting you around low level area's (it's boring as hell) if you can't kill a creature / beast to complete a quest, your not a high enough level. Work on some easier quests to level up, then try again. Ask yourself a question, do you really want to be carried through the game, or would you prefer the pride of being able to say " i've done this myself! "...? That said we really don't mind taking you for the occasional run, but we reserve the right to say no.
State your professions in the guild notes, and if possible your level as well, (ie. mining 300 skinning 300) and if you've joined up to the forum, please put in your profile your character's details, ie.
Lorenaraigh - lvl 61 Night Elf hunter - Mining 320 Skinning 320

CONSEQUENCES!
If you've broken the rules for whatever reason your case will be reviewed fairly by the black Knights and Lemus, and if we decide you've messed up you will be demoted, if your at the lowest rank in the guild you will be blacklisted. If it's found that you've been an upstanding member of the guild for the period of one month your rank will be re-instated and your blacklisted status will be removed. in extreme cases you will be exiled from the guild. We will be taking a 3 strikes stance, If your blacklisted and offend again your blacklisted date will be reset to the date of your second offence and noted and if you offend a third time you will be exiled from the guild. You will not be reinvited, we also chat with members of other guilds and in extreme cases your details will be passed on to other guilds.
Raids and instances and the forum:
Please sign up to the forum as soon as you can, so we can all co-ordinate raids and instances, if you need help with a quest, info about the game, want to host or join a raid / instance or just put your input into where the guild is headed and what you think needs to change the forums the place for it!
That's about it, remember that it's all about having fun, so if you are seriously stuck, someone will help you out.
